Protrack requires a webserver and database and, since Protrack is web based, it only has to be installed on the server not on users’  Computer.

Server:
Operating System: Windows 2000 Server or Higher
Database: Microsoft Access, Microsoft SQL Server, Sybase or Oracle.
Web-Server: IIS Server 5.0 or higher 
Hardware: Intel Pentium 4 or compatible system is desirable with minimum of 512 RAM. 
30 MB disk space is required to install Protrack software.
User Desktop
Web Browser: Internet Explorer 5.0 or higher 
Netscape 6.2 or higher

Requirements for email notification
Any mail server that uses the POP3 or IMAP mail protocol.
